Robert N. Cory, PhD, CYT-500


Robert Cory has trained extensively in the Iyengar Yoga method with Tao Porchon-Lynch, Aadil Palkhivala, Genny Kapuler and Lindsey Clennell.  He has studied with BKS and Geeta Iyengar.  He was certified at the 500-hour teacher level following an immersion program in yoga meditation and philosophy at the Himalayan Institute in Allahabad, India.  Robert was also certifed by Mukunda Stiles as a Structural Yoga Therapist after completing a 2½-year training program in 2006.  For the past 10 years has directed the Yoga in the Pines program in Fire Island Pines, NY. 
Robert holds a Doctorate in Biomedical Sciences with a specialty in Neurosciences and blends this background into his classes, private therapy work and specialized courses for yoga teachers.
